Bio: An ordained Interfaith Minister Rev. Jeffries attended The Seminary at Hashem's House. She also holds an MA in Interfaith Ministry from the American Interfaith University as well as a BA in Literature and Communications from Pace University. She is the current Chancellor at the Seminary at Hashem's House. Rev. Jeffries has been performing wedding ceremonies, baby blessings and funerals throughout the tri-state area since 2007 and leading meditation workshops for nearly two decades. Using her writing background, each life event is a personalized one-of-a-kind event.
She has written and led hundreds of people in guided meditations, helping them relax, find their center and learn how meditation can be a powerful tool in combating stress in our hectic world. Rev. Jeffries has lectured about Meditation to civic and social groups in New Jersey, including Interweave in Summit, NJ, the Glen Rock Community School, Passaic Community College, the Fair Lawn Rotary Club, MOMs Clubs of New Jersey, West Side Presbyterian Church, and the North Arlington Women's Club.
As a monthly contributor to About Our Children Maureen wrote about topics concerning modern parents. Her work has also appeared in 201 Bride, 201 Bride online, The Womans Day Special Interest Publications, This Week Publications, The Jewish Standard, girlawhirl.com, and souldish.com among many others.
Rev. Jeffries is known in Glen Rock, NJ as "the costume lady." She has lent her sewing skills to countless middle school productions as well as to local children's theatre outlets.
