Bio: Reverend Dr. Romie Palladino holds a graduate degree in Theology and Feminist Studies from Yale University. In 2016, she was granted her Doctor of Ministry degree, and her dissertation, "Recovering the True Self: a reflection on Sacred Healing" focused on the obstacles and antidotes toward living a full and healthy life. She was a long time Teaching Fellow in Pastoral Counseling and Care at Yale University Divinity School and a "Sunday Speaker" at the Woodbury Yoga Center.
Rev. Romie is a certified pre-marital care provider using tools from both the Prepare Enrich and Gottman programs. She is experienced at creating blessing, birthing, clearing rituals and she has officiated at over 300 weddings in the DMV, CT and NYC areas.
Rev. Romie has presented at Leadership Montgomery Youth and Berkshire School Pro Vita exploring ways that meditation and the mystical expand our authentic selves and allow for less stress and suffering. Additionally, she has served at Niantic Women's Prison, working specifically with an inmate serving a life sentence on stress reduction and being present.Rev. Romie also holds a Certificate of Applied Spirituality from Hartford Seminary Women's Leadership Institute. She is a ( pending ) member of World AWAKE and the International Association for Reiki Professionals, as well as being on the Board of Directors of Cornerstone, an ecologically minded non-profit organization whose key work centers on the Nambale School project, an African boarding school that bridges opportunity for orphaned children. She has earned a certificate in Authentic Leadership from Naropa University in Boulder, CO, which focuses on the development of mindful, centered leaders. She received Shaktipat (Kundalini awakening) from Shri Anandi Ma in 1998 and has been a daily meditator since. Her journey includes a wide variety of pastoral care giving experiences with many diverse populations, joyful spiritual teaching, diverse ecumenical alliances, amazing mentors, spiritual teachers and creating sacred ceremonies and rituals. She has gone on spiritual pilgrimages in India, Sedona, Taos as well as going on an Native American Vision Quest and many extended silent retreats through the North East. An ordained Interfaith minister, Romie's ministerial service is rooted in universal human experience while offering practical tools for spiritual freedom and joy.
Additionally, Rev. Romie is a Usui Reiki Master Teacher, a registered Karuna Reiki Master and a Jikiden Okuden Reiki practitioner (studying under Frank Arjava Petter) who had a private intuitive healing practice for almost years in CT and MD. From 2016-2022 she has done deep healing work, both physically while recovering from a hit and run experience and emotionally through the intense caretaking and eventual loss of her beloved. Her heart centered healing service is informed by her gentle compassion as well as her gifts as an life long intuitive. Currently she offers virtual wisdom sessions that call on all that she hears from Spirit as well as all she has learned and experienced.
