Happy Spring Connections, !!!name!!!,

Board Chair's Message

Greetings Members and Spiritual Communities,

As the days get longer and with more sunshine, many are feeling the need to tend to their gardens and take more walks. We hope you are feeling the Spring energy and a sense of renewal.

Our members celebration gathering was fun and we thank you for your presence. The feedback was fantastic, let’s do this again next year. We are so glad you got to see the growth of World AWAKE and how we are here to support you.

World AWAKE extends a heartfelt thanks to Donna Thorman, Rev. Judi Painter and Thomas Pheiffer with NAMI-FaithNet for their virtual discussion and dialogue on mental health. It was insightful and helpful to hear the statistics, signs and symptoms to better help us in our respective communities.

Description: Monday Meditation is a practice of Yoga Nidra. You only need to lay down or sit, in stillness. No movement is required and it is not possible to do this "wrong". I will be your guide, as you allow your "monkey mind" to go have a seat in the corner. Once physically in a comfortable position I will guide you to a seed of intention/sankalpa, then travel through your physical body, move to an unaltered breath awareness, continue onto your emotions. Witness an inner journey before we finish.
