Board Chair's Message

World AWAKE and its Board of Directors have been busy working through the Summer to bring forth more new exciting events, activities and adventures.

Our retreat committee has been formed, the first annual members “October Hot Chocolate Social Gathering” via Zoom has been scheduled and we are preparing for new experiences in 2020.

I want to give gratitude to Rev. Christine Moses for an amazing Zoom workshop on how to form Sacred Circles. She was one of our members who was awarded a Zoom-Pro license earlier this year. Bravo Rev. Chris!

Many of us who joined in her class learned a wealth of knowledge with regards to forming your own sacred circle. We each had our own specialty area we wanted to incorporate into this ancient practice. She delighted us with her extensive knowledge on what it meant to have circles, its history, marketing and honing your own special skillset.

Last month we completed our new Brochure card that showcases many new wonderful features World AWAKE offers. Please view our new E-Brochure.
For our members attending the annual “October Hot Chocolate Members Gathering” please join in and share your ideas and suggestions. If you are looking to become one of our members here is our registration information.

We have more announcements and exciting news that will be shared in the coming months. Stay tuned to the newsletters for more details.
Blessings and Gratitude

Clinical Pastoral Education Training (CPE/T) is an experience in process education that has been honed over several decades and remains responsive to cultural developments that facilitate pastoral growth. The heart of CPE/T is ministry with the sick, injured, and dying, and learning from that ministry. CPE/T trainees learn through reflection, discussion, and evaluation, and are able to apply their learning in future ministry experiences. This type of adult learning is accomplished with other CPE/T trainees and a CPE/T supervisor in a dynamic, small group setting.
